This summer's practice and conditioning sessions paid off with a display of good soccer against tough teams from Davis, ACC Mavericks, Pleasanton Rage and Elk Grove. A 3-game shut out led to the championship game. In the championship game vs. Elk Grove, Lamorinda kicked it into high gear and the score was 3-0 at halftime, with a 4-2 final score. Another positive result from this summer's competition is the team's first place finish in their Super Y League Division this summer, which has earned them a berth at the Super Y North American Finals in Tampa, Florida this November. The North American Finals are regarded as one of the top youth soccer events in America. It is a 5-day tournament that includes over 130 of the best U13 to U17 soccer teams in the US and Canada. | | | | | | | |
