| WHISKERS! Holiday Production Features Local Talent

Sally Hogarty, a resident of Canyon and a veteran of the local acting scene, will play Nana in the upcoming children's musical WHISKERS! to be performed at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek in December. "I guess this is my fifth year in the production," notes Hogarty who will be joined on stage by her granddaughter who plays Raggedy Ann. "This production helps to get me in the holiday spirit," states Hogarty. "I'm the one character that gets to interact directly with the audience. I love to go out into the audience and play with the children. I dust everybody," she adds
This year's show also features Orinda resident Erika Henningsen as the Velveteen Rabbit. The Musical plays Saturdays, Dec. 13th and 20th at 4:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m., and Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Dec. 15th, 17th & 19th at 9:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m. Tickets are available by calling (925) 943-SHOW (7469).
