Lafayette teen Mikey Teare recently enjoyed a day with Blackie, a horse who came to visit through the efforts of SonRise Equestrian Foundation. Mikey is a patient with the Comfort for Kids, a program of the Hospice of the East Bay that provides in-home medical care and support for children and teens that have life-limiting illnesses or conditions along with support for family and friends.
