For old timers who remember little signs placed along the Lafayette Reservoir path with numbers that corresponded to plant listings in a guide book, well, those are extinct. But new signage, with a clever sense of humor, can now be found in strategic locations along the loop. From "That Dam Tower" to "Something's Fishy" to "Beautiful Butterflies" the colorful, informative, user-friendly signs are a huge improvement. "We're responding to the needs of the public," said Ranger Irene Baker. Credit goes to recently retired Senior Ranger Aileen Wilson for the project.
