| Ten of the girls in Cadette Girl Scout Troop 30072 from Moraga had the privilege of helping at a Special Olympics Bowling tournament on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Diablo Lanes in Concord. Jenny Choo, Vice President of Regional Sports for Special Olympics Northern California said, "The Girl Scout group did a fantastic job volunteering at the Special Olympics Northern California East Bay Regional Bowling Tournament. They were great with the athletes and were an integral part of the success of the event by assisting as Lane Monitors, Awards Distributors and also helping out with lunch. We appreciated their enthusiasm and initiative."
