Orinda Aquatics Hits Open Water

On June 10, 18 swimmers from Orinda Aquatics (OA) and several parents, including a swimmer from OA's Masters program, participated in the annual Lake Del Valle Open Water swim, sponsored by the Tri-Valley Masters Swim program.
OA swimmers competed in the .75 mile swim around the lake. Clayton Young, 17, came in first in his age group, while Cameron Hoyh, 17, came in second. Kiera O'Brien, 13, came in first in her age group. Cathy Hanley, an OA parent and a Masters swimmer, came in second in her age division.
