Sustainable Lafayette and the Chamber of Commerce are hosting an Earth Day Celebration at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 21. It's a picnic and party with live music, a bounce house for kids and interactive activities about all things earth. Kicking off the busy family friendly day is a self-propelled parade that departs at 10:45 a.m. from Stanley Middle School. The public is invited to bring festively decorated bikes, skateboards, scooters or sneakers on the stroll from the school to the library.
