Families hoping to snag one of the eight below-market-rate homes planned for the new Orinda Grove neighborhood are invited to attend a special workshop Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Orinda Library at 26 Orinda Way. Households of four members or more - with at least one member working in Orinda for a year or more and still currently employed in Orinda, and whose members meet the median income and other basic eligibility criteria - will be given the first opportunity to qualify for purchase.
