Orinda Aquatics Takes Win

Swimmers from the Orinda Aquatics Senior Group attended the annual Juanita Allington Senior Championship meet held in Clovis from Feb. 26-March 1. With two charter buses carrying 91 swimmers and three coaches, the team departed Lamorinda for four days packed with swimming trials, finals and lots of relays.

Over the course of the weekend, the team posted nearly 400 best times, including 14 new sectional times. Orinda Aquatics scored nearly 1,000 points to win the 40-team meet.
