Lung cancer in never-smokers is now considered the sixth most common cause of cancer deaths in the United States. The percentage of affected individuals is significantly higher in Asian women.
Teresa Onoda, former colleague of Fritzky, gave a warm recollection on the dais of the woman she considered her friend. She praised Fritzky's intelligence, analytical skills, warmth, humor and elegance. Elected officials from neighboring cities, the county and state came to honor Fritzky and participate in the 1.5-mile walk on the Lafayette-Moraga trail. The event was sponsored by a large number of local businesses, associations and the town of Moraga. - S. Braccini
