Free gutter covering material offered through MOFD

As part of its Home-Hardening Grants program, the Moraga-Orinda Fire District has received a shipment of "Gutterglove- Leafblaster Pro" gutter covering just in time for the worst part of the wildland fire season. According to MOFD, "These stainless steel guards are designed to minimize the accumulation of combustible material in your home's gutters and limit the surface spread of flame for at least 30 minutes. Having gutter coverings has the potential of protecting your home from damage due to flying embers."
